Curriculum intent and aims

We explore the creative interests, introduce key formal elements, ideas and specialisms within Art and Design. Encourage students to build on their practical skills, creative thinking, risk-taking and independence.

Students will leave Key Stage 3 with an ability to look upon and understand art and design work and the processes behind each artistic decision.

Creativity, influence, multimedia, inference, experimentation, expressive, observation and reflection.
