2017 GCSE Results: Students’ Success Continues

Jubilee High School is proud to announce excellent GCSE results once again. With the new and highly demanding English and Mathematics GCSE examinations in place, our students rose to the occasion and achieved a fine set of results without diluting their efforts in other subject areas. They deserve everyone’s warmest congratulations for their hard work and we are very proud of them. Although year-on-year comparisons are difficult to make when taking into consideration the new examination grading system, our students deserve great credit in maintaining the high standards expected at Jubilee High School.

Mr Price, Headteacher, said ‘I am very proud of our students and wish them all well in their Post-16 studies. I am also delighted to see some of our students achieving the new highest grade 9, which only the top 2% in the whole of England, can achieve in English and Mathematics. This required huge dedication.’

The following students have distinguished themselves by achieving outstanding results:

James Quinton: nine A*- As, plus Level 9 in Maths

Maiyolis Alvarez-Reyes: ten A*- As, plus Level 8 in English and Maths

David Gandary and Neka Toni-Uebari: eight A*- As, plus high grades in both English and Maths.
